Small Change.

We have decided as a group that our film will not be set in the 1950s and it would be modern instead. Not only will the correct location be hard to find, but also everything within the screen (clothing, props, hair style etc). Therefore,  in order to make filming easier for us, producing a modern teaser trailer would be more beneficial to us as a group.

Another reason why we want it to modern is that last year, my other members were in a group and created a film opening which was set in around 1940s, and their media project got marked down as there were double glazing windows and modern televisions in the background of the screen.

By producing a trailer that will be modern, we would not have to worry about such small problems, making the filming easier and more enjoyable.

  1. How do you now go on and define 'modern'? Your chosen genre is very stylised and you need to think about how you present the look of your film to your target audience? Props? Mise en scene? Costumes?
