Small Change.

We have decided as a group that our film will not be set in the 1950s and it would be modern instead. Not only will the correct location be hard to find, but also everything within the screen (clothing, props, hair style etc). Therefore,  in order to make filming easier for us, producing a modern teaser trailer would be more beneficial to us as a group.

Another reason why we want it to modern is that last year, my other members were in a group and created a film opening which was set in around 1940s, and their media project got marked down as there were double glazing windows and modern televisions in the background of the screen.

By producing a trailer that will be modern, we would not have to worry about such small problems, making the filming easier and more enjoyable.

Pre-filming evaluation.

We plan to start filming during the half term because it is the only time where we will be able to get together and take advantage of the sunlight. We did not film during school time because there is barely any sunlight after 5 so we wouldn’t have enough time to get much or any done, it also doesn’t help that a couple of us have work around that time too. Thus, filming during the half term and making sure we take the full advantage of it, I am confident that we will be able to get most or even all of it done.

If the filming will be finished as expected/planned, it would allow us to start editing when we get back to school. For example: the soundtrack, we would know when to add intense music and when the music needs to be calm and relaxing.
